Whether you're just getting started or honing your skills, clinics are a great way to learn more about triathlon, meet training buddies, and get answers to your questions.  Most clinics are free, and you can join as many as you'd like!

Indoor cycling with ross hennessy from big ring builds

Join Mighty Mujer Triathlon Austin Race Director Peri Kowal as she interviews Ross Hennessy of Big Ring Builds. Ross has been coaching Triathlon for the past 5 years, racing for the past 10, and riding a bike of some sort since he was 3. He is a USAT Triathlon Coach, and he holds a bachelors degree in Health and Physical Education and Exercise Science. Ross lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and 3 dogs. He owns and operates Big Ring Builds. Ross has a passion for getting people started in cycling and triathlon and helping them set and accomplish their goals.

Never experienced an open water swim, or need to brush up on your skills? Join our Triathlon Swim Clinic on Sunday, April 26th! You'll learn and practice practical and technical aspects of the swim leg including mass starts, sighting, pacing, where to line up, how to draft, buoy turns and more! Build confidence this season and practice in a non-competitive and non-intimidating atmosphere at Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy! Please arrive ready to swim! Bring goggles and a swim cap. $25

Embark on a 6-week training program building up to Mighty Mujer Triathlon Austin. This is a great opportunity to get two coached workouts a week plus a full training plan for all of your workouts. Coach Jen Reinhart and the coaches at Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy will help get you to your best race. Choose from over 45 workouts in swim, bike, run and strength each week. Learn the ins and outs of the art of “transition” - from the swim to the bike, and the bike to the run at this clinic led by Carolina Estrada of Tough Cookies.
