This clinic is only for girls 6-13 years of age.
Mini Mighties this clinic is designed just for you! Focus on improving swimming techniques such as freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. This clinic will help prepare you for the unique challenges of a triathlon swim. After the swim, there will be a short transition period for you to change into running gear and hydrate. You will then go out and run a 1k. Swim 9:30-10:30am, Transition & Run 10:30-11:30am.

Swim Clinic – Technique & Safety

Learn proper swimming techniques to ensure efficient and safe swimming during your training swims and races. This clinic will focus on beginner stroke techniques (including stroke, balance, and breath work). Participants will learn and practice basic swimming drills to help increase efficiency, gain endurance and correct form.

Bike Skills and Basics and Tire Changing Clinic

Ready to get started? ABC Check - Learn basic cycling safety and pre-ride bike checks, then get ready for a beginner-friendly ride. Do you know how to change a tire? Learn from our Hive Ambassadors the basics on how to change a tire. Tips and hand-on experience will be discussed.
All levels are welcome! There will be a brief talk at the start to inform riders on skills to work on, and practice followed by an easy ride on surrounding roads/trails. Bring your bicycle and helmet and arrive ready to ride. Helmets are required, no helmet, no ride.
Transitions & Brick Work Out

Join Hive Production Company Ambassadors and learn how to set up your transition area and how to incorporate brick workouts into your training. We will also discuss essential race day gear and share tips to help you have the best race day ever! Bring your bike, helmet, and running gear to practice setting up your transition and do a short brick (bike-run) workout. Helmets are required; no helmet, no ride.
USAT Rules Review, Climbing and Descending, and Course Preview Ride

Join USA Triathlon Race Official to review commonly violated USAT rules. Margaret and Hive Production Company Ambassadors will lead a ride to preview the Mighty Mujer Triathlon bike course. Learn how to use your gears efficiently and effectively to climb and descend Alabama St. and "Heartbreak Hill" with ease! These hills are part of the racecourse, and we want you to be prepared to take them on.
