RACE DAY INFORMATION

Safety is our number one priority. With that said, Mini Mighties and a designated parent

(adult) will have numbered matching bracelets. These bracelets will be distributed at packet

pickup.

The bracelets are to be put on prior to the race. When Mini Mighties cross the finish line they

are to be contained within the space until the parent/adult with a matching bracelet picks them

up. Mini Mighties will not be released until said parent/adult shows up with matching bracelet.

Timing Chips

Mini Mighties will not receive timing chips.  Your event is not a timed event.

You will receive a participatory medal.

Transition Area

Transition spots are first come, first serve.  Sections will be marked Sprint, Super Sprint, Relays,

Bike-Run and Mini Mighties. Spectators are not allowed within transition at any time.

Mini Mighties’ parents will not be allowed in the transition area.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  Practice

your transition set-up and be ready to set it up by yourself.

Pool Area

Mini Mighties parents will not be allowed in the pool area. To ensure athlete safety and comply

with poolcapacity limits, spectators will not be allowed inside the pool area. Only athletes and

authorized event staff may enter the deck. This helps us maintain clear walkways, safe

transitions, and an environment where lifeguards and volunteers can do their jobs without

obstruction.

Bleachers and pool area are for athletes only. Please, do not leave anything in the pool facility,

as it will be closed after the swimmers are done and you will not be able to get your stuff.  Pool

volunteers will assist you entering and exiting the pool. Mini Mighties will enter the water in

the middle lane of the pool. See map below. Mini Mighties will enter the pool every 10

seconds, feet first. Pool volunteers will assist swimmers entering the pool. Each swimmer will

swim 1 length of each lane to complete 100 yards. Each swimmer must touch the opposing wall

before shifting to the next lane. Each swimmer will swim down and under 4 lanes. Swimmers

will exit the pool via a ladder in the corner of the pool closest to the back exit.

Finish Line

To keep all our Mini Mighties safe, we kindly ask parents/siblings/family not to run alongside

their Mini Mighties during the run portion or across the finish line. Giving them space ensures a

smooth, safe race for every child out there.

Award Ceremony

Mini Mighties will receive a Mighty Mujer finisher medal and a Splash and Dash medal.
