Mighty Mujer Triathlon is an all-female race: 400-yard open-water swim, 10mi bike, 3mi run. The lake swim with lifeguards on boards and kayaks along the way will keep you going! The bike is a flat, safe, closed loop inside the park with no vehicular traffic. The run is a flat and paved 2- loop run around the park lake!

Mighty Mujer Triathlon empowers and supports new and experienced triathletes with fun and informative lead-up events and fantastic support on race day!

Each athlete must pick up her own race packet. Athletes must show photo ID at packet pickup.  USA Triathlon annual members must show USA Triathlon Membership.  At packet pickup, athletes receive:  race numbers, swim cap, shirt, maps and other goodies.

Form a MOTHER-DAUGHTER or GIRLFRIENDS team! The first member of a team to register creates and names the team; others can join it when they register. Each member of a team enters individually for Mother-Daughter and Girlfriends teams. They will compete against other teams racing the same distance. The fastest average overall time wins in the team category. Women who enter as a team and do not win the team category will remain eligible for Age Group and Athena awards.

MOTHER-DAUGHTER teams must have 2 participants racing in the same distance.
GIRLFRIENDS teams must have 4 participants racing in the same distance.



Saturday, May 11        6am – Transition Area Opens
                                             7am – Opening Ceremony & Mandatory Athlete Meeting
                                             7:30am – RACE BEGINS

Fundraising for PACE Center for Girls 

Mighty Mujer Triathlon participants may sign up to raise funds for PACE Center for Girls.   Participants who meet the goal of raising $500 will receive a refund of their race registration fee.  PACE Center for Girls has developed a nationally recognized, research-based non-residential program model that features a balanced emphasis on academics and social services, with a focus on the future for middle and high-school aged girls and young women.. All fundraising will be online through RunSignUp, and registrants who sign up to raise funds will be able to direct others to their fundraising link. 

Minimum Age

Athletes must be 11 years old or older as of December 31, 2019 to participate.


Awards will be given to the Top Female Overall, Top Mother-Daughter Team, and Top Girlfriends Team. First through third place will be awarded in the following categories: 14 & Under, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+, Athenas (Females 165+ lbs) Under 40, Athenas 40+, 2-Person Relay Team, and 3-Person Relay Team.

USAT Membership 

Mighty Mujer Triathlon is USA Triathlon-sanctioned; USAT rules apply.  All athletes must be members of USA Triathlon to compete. If you do not have an annual membership, you may purchase a $15 one-day pass during registration.
